As part of our theme of ‘Marathon – Achieve the Unachievable’, the whole of our KS2 cohort travelled to London for the day. This seemingly impossible feat was made easy, due to the commitment of so many of our staff and adult volunteers, but also by the incredible behaviour and attitude of our children, despite the Friday afternoon London traffic trying to scupper our plans!

The children explored The British Museum, viewing first hand so much of what they had been learning about over the term and taking part in some expertly-run, informative workshops. We also got to travel some of the London Marathon route and view the Olympic Park and managed to tick many of the ‘must-see’ sites on our London Eye-Spy list.

A long, but extremely rewarding day!
