Mrs D. Smith – Executive Headteacher
In September 2015, I was appointed Executive Headteacher for Church Hill Middle school and Abbeywood First School to lead the strategic vision for the collaboration of the two schools. I have been Head Teacher at Abbeywood First School since 2008 and before this I was as a Teacher Adviser for Learning and Teaching with the Local Authority. I have experience of teaching in First, Primary and Middle Schools in Worcestershire as an Advanced Skills Teacher. I recently trained as an Ofsted Inspector but am not currently working for Ofsted due to my commitment to our schools at this time of change, however I continue to support local schools as a Local Leader in Education. I have two grown up daughters of whom I am immensely proud. I enjoy going to the theatre, walking, all kinds of sport and visiting new places. Most of all I enjoy working and being with children.
Mr A. Fisher – Head of School
I have been teaching for 22 years and I have been a senior leader for 14 years as well as an advisory teacher for Coventry and current Ofsted Inspector. My subject specialisms are History and English and I enjoy cycling and photography in my free time. I started at Church Hill School as Deputy Headteacher in September 2017 and became Head of School in January 2017.
Mrs C. Lewis – Deputy Headteacher
I have been teaching at Church Hill Middle School for a ‘number of years!’ I am the Deputy Head teacher, and am also Leader of English. I enjoy being active, love cycling and am a member of a gym. Other interests include reading and working on home improvement projects! My aim for the future is to buy a Volkswagen camper van to renovate.
Mr D. Dathan – CRSA Trust Deputy Headteacher
Mr Dathan has been teaching for 14 years in a range of schools, including in Australia. He has two children in full-time education in a primary school in Warwickshire. He loves sport, fitness and being outdoors although he also enjoys cooking.”
Miss B. Harris – Assistant Headteacher
I am one of the Assistant Head Teachers and also leader of maths at Church Hill Middle School. As well as a passion for maths, I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking in the Lake District with my dog. I am a keen horse rider and dancer and used to be a member of a lacrosse team. In my spare time, I also love to bake or curl up with a good book.
Mr A. Reeves – Assistant Headteacher
I have been teaching for almost 20 years now and have worked in schools in Essex, Shropshire, Worcester and Redditch. Computing is my area of expertise, but I love teaching all subjects.
My ‘free’ time usually involves driving my children around to different activities and clubs, but when I’m not doing that I can be found enjoying some fresh air whilst camping or cycling.
Mrs M. Livesey – Assistant Headteacher Inclusion
I have been teaching for 19 years and been a SENCO for 5 years. I love reading and enjoy discussing the books at a book club with friends whilst sharing a curry. I also like taking on challenges for charity, having completed the London triathlon for the SANDs charity and a recent parachute jump for the Leukaemia Care Trust. I also enjoy holidaying with my husband and 3 children.
