Student Leadership

Here at Church Hill Middle School, we pride ourselves in inspiring others to help our community strive to be the best it can. We believe that everyone deserves the right to be heard, no matter of their background, race, religion, or gender.

Prefects

As the class of 2023-2024 prefects our mission statement is:

We, as a community, want to show everyone that our school is an exceptional place to be. We have high standards, and we know we can achieve them. We have core values that are rooted in respect for ourselves, respect for each other and respect for our environment. We want to support all of the pupils to be the best they can be.

Sports Leaders

As Sports Leaders our ambition is to create an environment where all children can enjoy sport, have fun, and achieve their goals, regardless of their ability and/or experience.

Here at Church Hill Middle School, we believe that sport is for everyone.  Whether you play sport regularly, or school is the only time you are active, we want to make it as fun as possible, through a variety of activities and games.

We will work across the school to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage positive mental well-being.

Lastly, throughout the year, we will organise and host a variety of sporting events for children here at Church Hill, and younger children from the local community.  We will use these opportunities to install our school values of happiness, respect, compassion, integrity, self-belief, community, and aspiration, through the power of sport.

School Council

As Student Council, we aim to make purposeful changes to our school, after listening to and representing our peers. We want to be the voice of the pupils, making changes to have a big impact on our school community.  We want to make a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for everyone to succeed in and where everyone feels happy.

We are looking forward to making an impactful and purposeful change to our school community!

Eco Council

As an eco-council we wish to support the reduction of our school’s carbon footprint, making staff and pupils more eco-conscious. We will do this by educating fellow students about environmental issues and their significance and implementing eco-friendly initiatives within the school, such as recycling programs, energy conservation campaigns, and garden projects.

Reading Ambassadors

As reading ambassadors, we want to encourage all students to have a passion for reading, learning to love getting lost in a book. We aim to help everybody enjoy and respect our library, recommending excellent books and supporting our peers to try new things.
